Claire Stringer is a Dutch ceramicist. Her love for clay began three years ago when, alongside painting, she was looking for another medium to bring her botanical fantasy world to life. She instantly fell in love with ceramics; the process of turning a lump of clay into something tangible is what fascinates her. She paints her ceramics with colorful glazes, and illustrations are often seen on her pieces.

Every piece is hand-formed, inspired by flowers and the nature around her. She loves to take a walk in the woods next to her house and she is often found in her garden. One day, she would like to have an English cottage garden, with lush flowers and climbing plants.
She keeps a small herb garden and has fruit trees and plants in the garden, such as blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries
